FURY Welcomes Rainbow 6 Siege for APAC SOUTH

FURY Global is pleased to announce that we have signed Thailand based Rainbow 6 Siege roster, Ex-QConfirm, as our Premier Roster for the 2022 APAC South Season.

We have previously been a part of the Top flight Rainbow 6 Siege scene during the original ESL ANZ Pro League Season 10 and Season 11, and 2022 is where we return to the top-flight looking to make an impact in APAC South.

"I'd say in the APAC South region, I think the Thai fan base is probably one of the strongest in terms of getting behind their organizations, their teams, and really being very supportive. I think this team is really strong. I think they haven't shown their full potential in APAC South. I think last year's results don't accurately reflect what we sort of expect from this team." - Miles "Venm" Johnson, Managing Director.

Joseph Basso, Chief Executive Officer for FURY Global, touched on Fury's aspirations of branching out into the Thai scene, whilst touching on why Ex-QConfirm was the right choice.

"In our previous endeavors into the APAC Region, via our Previous PUBG roster, we established a strong fanbase within Thailand and wanted to continue to grow and develop our fanbase outside of Oceania. With the previous closure of QConfirm in November 2021, we thought this was the perfect opportunity to re-enter Tier 1 R6 Siege alongside some of the best players within Thailand who have remained together since May 2018."

"We are extremely excited for the upcoming APAC South Season and we can't wait to further establish more presence and collaborations within Thailand in the future"

The new FURY Rainbow Six team is aiming high, with Johnson stating that he believes the team has the capability to qualify for a Six Major in 2022, or even the Six Invitational 2023.
